Well, it is that time of year again. It is coming time for People In Need`s (PIN) Annual Comedy Night fund raiser to benefit the homeless. This year is the 8th annual event. You can enjoy great food, comedians and enjoy helping out a great cause.
This year, the 2nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Ping Pong® for Poverty charity tournament to benefit the homeless of Hampton Roads through PIN Ministry will be held on October 1, 2 at Corporate Landing Middle School in Virginia Beach with the major tournament sponsor being The Sports Authority.
This is just a quick announcement for my favorite charity – PiN Ministry (at pinministry.org).

Just an update on the P.I.N. comedy night fundraiser.
Because it took place during one of Virginia Beach’s worst ever Nor’easter storms the turn out was a bit on the disappointing side (from my perspective) but at the same time it could also be classed as a success even though there was less of a turn out than last year for the same reason.
While I was working to refinish an antique piece of furniture someone came by where I was working on it and made the remark “Ah, furniture refinishing, a dying art”. This got me thinking.
We are very pleased to announce the 5th Anniversary of the PIN Ministry in Hampton Roads.
